Can Computer virus Infect human beings

We all know that computers become infected with viruses, but what about human? Well, a British scientist claims he is the first man ever to become infected with a computer virus.
Dr. Mark Gasson, a researcher from the School of Systems Engineering, contaminated a computer chip which had been inserted into his hand. After corrupting that chip with malware, he was able to pass on virus to external system.

The computer chip uses RFID technology. It allows Dr. Mark Gasson to access his security door i.e. he just needs to wave his hand to enter his building instated of swiping an ID card and can activate his mobile i.e. his cell phone knows when he’s using it, and other person can not use it. Only Gasson can.

Dr. Mark Gasson said that the infected RFID chip in his hand was able to pass on the computer virus to external control devices. When it comes to medical implants it could potentially infect other people, he said.

The computer chip which Gasson has installed in his body is not in wide use, so no need to worry now. However, this implanted technology will be used widely in the future & computers will get under our skin.

Check out the video below and let us know what you think of Dr. Gasson’s “infection.”
